The Nashville Goo Goos

art direction | graphic design

I developed a one-night-only alter ego for the Nashville Sounds, rebranding the minor league team as the Nashville Goo Goos in celebration of the iconic Goo Goo Cluster candy. The concept fused baseball with vintage candy shop nostalgia, resulting in a playful visual identity that honored a beloved piece of Nashville history. I led the creative direction across uniforms, merch, and the in-stadium promotion, crafting a cohesive and delightfully retro fan experience. The result was a sweet blend of local pride and immersive design.

The Merch

Its not unusual for a team’s mascot to come around and shoot prizes into the crowd. However what happens when that prize might get a little mealty in the nashville heat? At the Nashville Sounds’ Goo Goo alter ego game, the mascot for the night (Clusten) will shoot Goo Goo Clusters, wrapped in rally towels into the crowd. The Goo Goo Chocolate Face came will then go around capturing the crowds messiest candy eaters. The towels serve a dual purpose, weather for waving or for wiping, they've got you covered.
